Terms & Conditions
Please review our standard trade terms of service governing all residential plumbing, drainage, and gas fitting work performed by VicWide 24/7 Plumbing across Victoria.
VicWide 24/7 Plumbing Standard Service Agreement
By booking a service, accepting a written or verbal quotation, or authorising our plumbers to commence work, you agree to be bound by the terms detailed below.
1 Contract & Acceptance
This agreement is between VicWide 24/7 Plumbing (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the customer (“you”, “your”, “client”). Requesting a call-out, signing a job card, or verbally approving work constitutes immediate acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2 Upfront Pricing & Quotations
We pride ourselves on clear, fixed upfront pricing:
- All quotes provided prior to work commencement are based on visual inspection and known site conditions.
- If uninspected or hidden defects are identified (e.g., collapsed underground piping, obscured electrical wiring, or corroded structural fittings), an updated fixed quote will be submitted for your approval before proceeding.
- Standard emergency call-out rates apply for after-hours, weekend, or public holiday dispatches as communicated prior to attendance.
3 Payment Terms
Unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed upon in writing prior to service commencement:
- Residential Services: Payment is strictly due upon completion of work on the day of service.
- Accepted Payment Methods: On-site EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, cash, or instant direct bank transfer.
- Ownership of all installed goods, fixtures, and materials remains with VicWide24/7Plumbing until the invoice is settled in full.
4 Emergency Response & Attendance
While our mobile vans operate on a 30 to 60-minute target response window for critical 24/7 emergency dispatches across Mill Park, Reservoir, Plenty, and surrounds, response times are non-binding estimates subject to severe weather, regional traffic conditions, and prior life-safety emergency priorities.
5 Property Access & Client Safety
To ensure a safe working environment, the client agrees to:
- Provide clear, unobstructed access to water meters, isolation valves, drainage pits, gas meters, and work areas.
- Ensure domestic pets are safely secured away from work zones while technicians are on site.
- Disclose known underground utilities, concealed wiring, or prior non-compliant plumbing modifications.
6 Guarantees & Manufacturer Warranties
All work carried out by VicWide24/7Plumbing strictly adheres to Victorian Building Authority (VBA) standards and Australian Plumbing Codes (AS/NZS 3500):
- Workmanship Guarantee: Backed by our lifetime guarantee on labour for installation and structural modification works.
- Materials & Fixtures: Hot water systems, tapware, valves, and appliances are covered by their respective Australian manufacturer warranties.
- Drain clearing services for old, tree-root infested, or structurally collapsed clay lines carry a limited warranty unless internal trenchless pipe relining or replacement is performed.
7 Cancellations & Modifications
You may cancel or reschedule a standard booking without fee by providing at least 2 hours’ notice before the scheduled service window. Emergency dispatches cancelled after a technician has been mobilised and is en route may incur a standard dispatch assessment fee.
8 Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from services rendered shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts and consumer tribunals (VCAT).
